Spectrum Miami is a highly successful art fair taking place concurrent with Art Basel Miami

Beach, December 4 - 8, 2013, during Art Basel Week.

Building upon its reputation as a diverse fair, Spectrum Miami will offer a unique selection of approximately 60 national and international galleries featuring  contemporary and secondary market, photography, painting, sculpture and works on paper in a luxurious 50,000 sq ft venue.

Spectrum is located directly across the street from other high caliber art fairs such as Art

Miami, Scope and Art Asia in Miami’s Wynwood Art District.

Spectrum strives to create a fair for galleries specializing in emerging, mid-career and established artists that seek to present work of lasting value and beyond current trends.

The G@P- Galleries were first opened in 2013 during Paratissima, as a self standing event focussing on Contemporary Art Galleries. Thirty galleries, of the Italian and international artistic scenes, will have the opportunity to exhibit and sell low-budget artworks, with the intent to draw the interest of young people and budding collectors, its hallmark.

The space reserved to G@P is within the historic setting of the former MOI, which is beside the Oval, where Artissima, the internationally renowned Contemporary Art Fair of Torino held during the same week. Paratissima 2012 had a record 100,000 visitors: it now intends to establish itself as an international off-event open to a passionate and curious audience, including Art Galleries as well as young and creative talents.

G@P intends to to fill in a gap between a more institutional, selective and oriented Art Fair aimed at elite collectors, and others Fairs exclusively reserved to young art galleries.
G@P intends to create a space where affordable artworks are offered in a relaxed and wel- coming environment.

The ninth edition of Paratissima– PIX takes place from November 6th-10th, 2013 and for the second time in the scenic ex-MOI arches, in Borgo Filadelfia.
It started as an off event of Artissima – international fair of contemporary art.
The event is enriched with special projects provided by Paratissima in collaboration with various companies and associations, projects considered particular for their quality and significance as well as exhibitions that host internationally renowned artists.
Educational areas, laboratories and workshops are taking on a key role in the event in order to trigger an active participation, a connection between the public and young artists during the five days of event.
Artists’ exhibitions, shows and performances have as a common objective interaction between environment and society- just one of the particularities of Paratissima.
All this is thanks to the informal, welcoming and open-minded environment that Paratissima has towards new projects with a different perspective on all forms of social-cultural art.

For this IX edition at the ex-MOI, Paratissima is also supporting the Awareness Campaign initiated in 2012 which turns degradation factors of the neighborhood in attraction elements. These include reclassifying shutters of closed –up shops of Piazza Galimberti into street art canvises and reopening once closed spaces in order to initiate interaction with the environment, even if only virtualy.

Inspired by the French tradition of Artists Fairs, starting from the famous 1863 Courbet's Salon des Independents, (AKA Salon des Refusés) PooL is the first fair in the US dedicated to unrepresented artists. The first edition took place in 2000 under the title: New York Independent Art Fair.

The simple, modest approach of the PooL Art Fair offers an exciting alternative to the "Art Fair" experience for dealers and collectors as well as the general public. PooL's main purpose is to create a meeting ground for outstanding unrepresented artists and the large public of contemporary art professionals. The fair also serves as an invaluable resource for the artistic community and the general public.

The organization committee, Frère Independent, offers to the artists the opportunity to be a part of the unique and important cultural environment that manifests that week in New York. Hundreds of thousands of art enthusiasts travel to the city to see and buy Art. It is a unique opportunity for gallery owners, curators and other art enthusiasts to discover artists that are not shown in the other art fairs.

Artists are able to sell work while expanding their network as well as receiving invitations to exhibit or create site-specific work by others.

The 3-day exhibition includes curated exhibitions, lectures addressing the challenges of the current art world along with special projects and events.

La Pool Ar Fair NYC est une foire d’art internationale organisée par l’Association Frère Independent, fondée et dirigée par Thierry Alet, lui-même artiste.

Frere Independent est fier de présenter au public américain une sélection d'artistes émergents, indépendants ou non représentés sur New York. Ces artistes travaillent en exclusivité avec la Pool Ar Fair NYC durant cette semaine phare de l’Art International. Ainsi, vous ne trouverez pas leurs travaux sur New York en dehors de la Pool Art Fair pendant cette période. Les collectionneurs et marchands d’art sont invités à découvrir ces nouveaux artistes et acquérir leurs œuvres en direct-artist, avant qu’ils ne soient représentés par une galerie ou un agent.
